Ambassador's Program

Ambassador's Program

What is an Ambassador?. An Ambassador of the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce is a very important part of the day-to-day operations of the Chamber. As an Ambassador, you are a goodwill representative of this organization that works for the business and community interests in the Greater Orange Area.

What are the Responsibilities of an Ambassador? Ambassadors are the public relations arm of the Chamber of Commerce. They serve as the welcoming committee for coffees, ribbon cuttings, mixers and partnership drives. Ambassadors actively recruit new businesses for the Chamber. Ambassadors meet on the second Thursday of the month in the boardroom of the Chamber offices. Once a quarter, Ambassadors meet at a local restaurant to conduct a Quarterly meeting.

Who can become an Ambassador? Ambassadors come from the membership of the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce. They are owners of member businesses, employees of member businesses, or individual members of the Chamber.

For more information about the Ambassador program, please call the Chamber at 409.883.3536.
